I like books. Hardbacks. Paperbacks. Ebooks. Audio books. Old books. New books. Comic books. Dusty old programming books. I love them all. I hoard them where I can. I get a bit of anxiety when I can’t. In theory, digital content should help with that. In reality, it makes my anxiety worse.
I’m old. I’m grumpy. I DO like new tech, but I don’t always like paradigm shifts. I can go to a store and buy a book.

TL;DR version
I have foo.example, and metoo.example on server A and I want to test them on server B, and I’m willing to setup a odd little mousetrap to do it…
So I have multiple DNS domains that are self hosted. None of them are really anything more than a hobby. As such, they get hosted “on the cheap” – meaning I do a lot of grunt work to keep the costs down.

Here’s where the griping begins. Exercise. I hate it.
Today I start a program called “Naturally Slim”. It is an online “class” that, in theory, teaches you to eat better. I hate it.
To be fair, the information in it is not bad. My issue is that I am taking it for the 4th (ish?) time - not because I want to learn more - but because I earn “points” for an insurance discount through work.

My wife made me this shirt for Christmas. I think it pretty well sums it up.
This past summer, an author friend from Facebook, Noah Sturdevant, requested submissions for a humor anthology he was putting together.
I was on vacation, and feeling more creative than usual… Long story short, this happened.
I’m not credited in the Amazon description, but I have both a short story (technically microfiction) and a limerick in it.
